Special Assessment Search Enhancements

Special Assessment Search Will Have New Look, More Features Beginning January 17

On January 17, the Clerk & Comptroller will launch an enhanced special assessments website. Homeowners who have a special assessment on their property will now be able to pay online by credit card.

Other improvements include the ability to retrieve and print:

  • Payoff letters
  • Transaction activity reports
  • Lien satisfaction letters
  • Payment schedules

Special assessments help pay for public improvements in a community such as road paving, water mains and drainage. They are levied upon properties that will directly benefit from the improvements. Special assessments require approval from the homeowners in the area and the Board of County Commissioners.
